When videogames are handled like movies and tv shows, or like some personalities (tv hosts, artists, politicians...) handle their public image, i.e. by insisting on their sexuality and pretty much nothing else, I tend to run away. This won't be any different.

FFS, why should every company in the world be owned by a tiny handful of mega-corporations. People don't want diversity or what? This goes to show ya all that when someone really wants something they can make it happen, provided it's 3rd party. So, even though I personally don't care for it, apparently some people are into those games, why can't Sony make the Gears of War games come to Playstation? They're made by Epic after all, which is not owned by Microsoft but is an independent 3rd party publisher, after all.
It is technically a "passable" score. A bad score would be anything below 5, 5/10 being an average score. But yeah, the score system is kind of skewed, and reviewers who give a game 6,5/10 clearly don't think too high of said game. But this IGN score does seem to be in the minority, most of the scores are good to very good, even some perfect scores, it's amazing, for a game I thought would be a love it or hate it thing, which would largely lead people to consider Kojima'...
How are the scores overall? From what I've caught a glimpse of til now the IGN review is hardly representative, is it?
Infamous Second Son was my very first PS4 game. I even bought it several months before owning a PS4, because of a sale or smthg. I loved every bit of it, and I still play it from time to time in such amazement that I'm thinking I can't possibly let myself live whatever life without ever going at least once to the Pacific Western Coast of the USA to visit Seattle, which in the game is painted as one of the coolest city ever (minus those dark towers built by that, erm you know)

It is not a "bonus", we shouldn't even be paying to play online with the games we bought, on the systems we bought, using our internet connection we pay a monthly fee to our ISP for to begin with, so what's left to consider when we pay for PS+/Xbox Live Gold with Games? That's right: the games. That's where the meat is. So when the selection of games is trash, it means we just paid for another month for nothing.
Maybe, but with Microsoft people who pay for Xbox Live still get 4 games on 2 different platforms, instead of just 2 on 1 platform on Playstation, since Sony have stopped offering games for the PS3 (and the PS Vita before that). When you think it was Sony who came up with that idea of charging people not to play online but to rent games. Just how much lower can they stoop, it makes you wonder...
I just want (a lot) more stealth-oriented environments. The one thing that was missing in what was an otherwise awesome game was a bigger number of intricately-designed buildings for us stealth lovers to sink our teeth into. More banks, warehouses (I know there were plenty, but their interior design was too simple and didn't allow for much stealth gameplay), museums and what not, part introduced through the story, part available as side-missions, would've made this the dream Spider-Ma...

Too many Halo games, and those MMORPGs don't belong in there IMHO. It's a classic list all around.
The game on the thumbnail, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, is a huge game with a ginormous map that offers really a great deal of content, but its story is surprisingly not that long after all, at least compared to what the size of the map and its myriad icons could lead one to think.
While I agree that not all games have to be like Assassin's Creed Odyssey or The Witcher 3 GOTY or TES IV Oblivion or TES V Skyrim, because sometimes we also want to be able to know the end...
